Ballet I
New students 6-9 years old are taught the technical vocabulary of ballet. Building strength for the alignment of the bones and the muscles to prepare for the future classical ballet study is emphasized
Pointe
The minimum age for pointe work is 10 years old, and a student must be enrolled in 3 ballet classes minimum per week at ballet level II or higher.
Petite Ballet
Students 3-5 years old are instilled with love for music, dance, and creative expression. Poise, grace, rhythm, balance, self-expression, coordination and self-esteem are developed.
Variations
Advanced dancers will learn classical ballet repertoire, traditional choreography and variations from ballets such as Sleeping Beauty,
Jazz/Hip-Hop
Upbeat music, innovative movement, and fast-paced style make these dances very popular. Ballet technique is recommended to build strength and clarity for any dance student. Ballet students are encouraged to explore these styles of dance
Adult Ballet
Adults may join in classes as their schedule permits. The focus is to maintain fitness, gain knowledge and improve technique.
Lyrical
Contemporary music which uses both Ballet and Jazz technique. An expression. interpretive style of dance.
